Zero wait time at courthouse off of Spencer in Pasadena today. During the lunch hour too.

Nothing that I can point to. I just like the idea of making a day of it....take the day off....go vote....get a meal....come home....have a few cold one's and watch the returns come in.

Nope, these were not as good as Shipley's or Hruska's or the Czech Stop, but they were good enough.

Voted @ UT last Friday. I work nearby and just waited until the line was short, around 4:30. Peak time seems to be lunch -- there was a line around the building.

I have never had a big line for a general election on election day, but I have seen them in primaries and in early voting. So I've never really understood the argument of avoiding lines by voting early. I suppose it has the one benefit -- if you go early and there's no line, you win, and if there is a line you can punt to some other day. Still, I have never had a problem on election day.

This was my wife's first vote as an American citizen (well, second, if you count the primaries).

We voted a week ago yesterday. I scoped the place we were going to vote during the lunch hour. LONG line. But when my wife got home from her class, I took her over there (5:10 or so?) and there was no line. All the machines were occupied, yes, but the difference between 5 pm and lunch hour was gi-normous.

I voted Saturday morning in Cypress, @ Hempstead and 290. I took about 30-45 minutes.

Hahaha, exactly ! ! I love the area out that way, but always slow down in Jonestown :) when I lived in Lago would make trips to Jonestown since it was closest 24 hour convenience store (I want to say it was a Circle K).

It's seems like the more minority part of town has a shorter wait time.
