Go look up Boise's record since 2002.
If you're trying to tell me that Houston has been more impressive than Boise in the last 10 years, you're on crack.
    Heck let's just look at 2014, 2013, and 2012. Houston's record was 21-17 compared to Boise's.

Again I love that UH is on its way to its second straight good season. But relax s bit.

Considering Ward has played WR in college, why would it be MUCH (your emphasis) more difficult?

I was saying much more difficult at an NFL level because he doesn't have the size or athleticism that Braxton Miller does. That's not to say he couldn't do it, Wes Welker found a way.

He is extremely shifty. I would take a flier on him in the 6th round as a QB.

Progresses through reads extremely slow. He makes some difficult throws at times which makes you see some potential there.

Looks like FCSC (Fox college sports channel) is showing the replay of the game tomorrow at 9am. It's channel 121 on Comcast.

Ward is very undersized BUT he is incredibly explosive.

With his athleticism, there can be space for guys like him. Look at guys like Julian Edleman, Denard Robinson, Terrelle Pryor, Braxton Miller, etc.

Houston has a history of having been very good in the past for a long time. Further Boise State is in the middle of nowhere with a poor local recruiting base. The University of Houston is in one of the 2 or 3 best recruiting bases in the country.

While I agree with you that UH will be in a far better position being in the Big XII, there isn't really a valid comparison to to Boise State. UH joining the Big XII won't long term hurt UT, because they will still get recruits and I would argue UH in the Big XII will likely only attract more local kids to consider the Big XII. The schools that will be hurt will be BU, OK ST, TCU; and possibly the SEC (especially A&M).

Nope. When you can run the ball like we can, winning comes a lot easier. Go back and look at why we dominated a top 10 team in UNC without a QB to finish last season. Seth Russell is the best quarterback in the state and the Big 12.

Love that we dominated the game in all three phases, and the best part of our game was literally shut down in Ward running. That is scary. That's the thing we do well.

Since you appear to be a Baylor grad and obviously love football, you must have had a lot of suffering in your life. It's not too late for grad school somewhere else, because I see suffering on the horizon for Baylor again

That's not what I said, at all.

I said this is not early 2000's Boise.

UH has proven itself many times over.

Theres no more need for validation.

I was sitting in the end zone where he caught the kick and I said I am glad they lined up someone here we could score if the kick is short.

OU was rushing three guys a lot. They wanted Ward throwing from the pocket.

Previous coach might be to blame, but Ward wasn't that great as a WR or Kick returner.

I watched the game around midnight (they finally aired the blasted thing again on ESPNU ... late). Impressive showing. They really did play to OU's level (whatever that is) and looked like they belonged on the field and then some. I have to admit, I thought they were going to get steamrolled after that first drive by OU, but then something got into them. I'm eager to see how OU plays against the likes of an Ohio St. to give a better barometer. Hopefully there were a few potential recruits attending that game and saw that victory.

Sampson had 4 big recruits attending the tailgate and game this past weekend.
