    yeah i think people are being fooled by the cap. signing people for a big percentage of the cap last offseason made sense, because the cap was going up 54% in the next 2 years. but the cap is going up only 15% next year. so giving someone over 20% of this cap isn't going to be that mitigated by the next increase. you're going to be paying bazemore something like 20% of the cap even for next year, and he may or may not be that good.

    Bazemore may be "6'5" but he has a 7 ft wingspan good-great perimeter defender... but that means that Ariza may be gone... lets hope Brewer leaves with him also

    It just seems like that if a team is actually good at scouting, they can find their own Bazemore from the scrap heap or the draft. He's just another 6'5'' guy who can shoot and defend a little. Plenty of those around.

    PER, win shares, TS% all have ariza as basically identical to bazemore. real plus-minus has ariza as way better. and ariza costs about 40% of the bazemore.
