    So his government name is really God. Shame on his parents if so. I don't condone blasphemy or anyone partaking. Religion should be respected the same way gays are. But of course, this is a backwards world so I'm in the minority and have no shame in professing it.

    Check the third and fourth definitions. Also, I'm pretty sure parents don't name their sons "Jesus," "Moses," or any other relevant name found in the bible, in order to be disrespectful. In fact, naming your son "God" probably occurs because of how much one loves their faith.

    In the end, a name is just a label, that you can change any time.
