    Monday's official reporting date was largely a formality for the Rockets because Norris, Nachbar and the players with non-guaranteed contracts, save the two signed on Monday, had been working out with Rockets coaches this month. Griffin had taken part in informal offseason workouts over the summer.

    EG been working out here this summer? I thought JVG was frustrated over his absense?

    So, what is the truth. What is fact with Eddie? Is he the Houston Camby? Or destined to be JVG's whipping boy?

    Probation or no, did we not hear of JVG's frustration that EG was not here, was not working out with the locals/and nearby coaches? Because I know I sure heard those stories.

    i don't ever recall JVG mentioning eddie griffin by name. he spoke about the team not being there.

    to my recollection, the question was posed to him about the "team". either way, it definitely was not posed to him about eddie griffin, specifically.
