They certainly can't elbow the defender LOL.

I've never seen something that blatant...and it was in the last seconds of a playoff game...

    WOW.

Can't trust the Thunder. Tried to GIVE that game away.

Between the stupid 3pt fouls they've had so far and their regular season 11 or 14 4th quarter blown leads...yeah.

Ginobli was too close to the inbounder

Eh, whatever. The Spurs still got the ball back, but simply couldn't capitalize. If Green had thrown a better pass, Mills could have had a sliver to get a layup. Instead, you swing it around for a contested 3.

There was some contact, but Ginobili oversold it.

They can be there unless there isn't 3 feet to give (ie, rec league basketball, if the player inbounding can't stand 3 feet back from the line by choice, then the defensive player must give the space). Irrelevant to the NBA.

That's what I'm thinking. Spurs had a golden opporutnity..they didn't really get cheated or anything. It was right there for them.

    So much this.

Green just needs to throw it to Ginobli for the uncontested layup. OR CALL A TIMEOUT!! (did they have one to call?)

Damn Webber was pissed. Probably wanted to call timeout for the Spurs

no timeout. donovan used his timeout instead of saving it for such a situation (to be fair durant looked wide open and waiters missed him).

Cant wait to see the nbas official review of the last 5 minutes. That last play had 5 bad calls by my count: 1) ginobili within 3 feet of the inbounder. he even stepped on the out of bounds line. 2)waiters with the elbow 3) danny green fouled durant on the invounds pass. 4) aldridge shoved someone out of the way to get patty mills rebound. 5) someone grabbed aldridges jersey to prevent him from getting the same rebound

I thought I saw Ginobli's foot cross the line myself. But so close an epic collapse, which would have been fun.

Further proof Waiters is a horrible NBA player.

And foul or not, he had Westbrook running straight to him and open. I could not believe he even went for that pass. So lucky they didn't lose or that's all on him.

Ginoblis foot was over out of bounds line at one point, is there a rule against that?

Yep, we're gonna get a ref report for the last two minutes that say it should have been an offensive foul.

Yay moral victory for the Spurs?

I'm not sure and I'd have to watch it again when it's available online, but did Ginobili's foot step out of bounds? If that was the case, then would that be like a delay of game like they used to do back in the day or some kind of foul?

Cool cool. Good to know. Waiters should have backed up then.

Ginobilis foot did step on the line briefly...

I know I'd be pissed as a rockets fan but I wasn't that off put by the no call given what seemed like a tad overzealousness of Ginobilis part.

The Spurs problem was the play anyway. Ginobili had a floater. I'm not are he knew that a 2 would do.
