Rockets get Denver's second rounder in 2017 as part of the Lawson trade.

They also have Portland's 2017 second rounder, the last of the many second rounders they got in the Thomas Robinson trade.

They'll have their own first rounder in 2017 but not their own second rounder (traded for Pablo Prigioni).

If it is going to be a center who can't shoot, he better be tall, block and rebound like a demon.

Any guards and forwards must be able to shoot. After this season, you would think that would important.

Knowing Morey, he will get a tweener at either position who will be a jack of all trades and master of none.

Thon Maker he seems like that Gamble that will be mind blowing if it pays off.
In General being tall with a shooters touch is usually a nightmare to defend. And this guy is almost like 2k Character.

    Max Height check
    Max Speed check
    Max Shot check.
    Make Shoes Check
Make log.... you know lets end here.

It's possible for us to get both Glove Jr and Thon Maker. I think both could be impactful immediately, especially Jr. He needs to work on his shot but he is a pure pg and a staunch defender so he would have no issues deferring to Harden on the offensive end. Maker could use some more polish. He's been working with pre-draft trainer that trained Andrew Wiggins, Dwight Howard, and Bradley Beal so he will look the part during the pre-draft process which could cause him to rise but if he is there in the 37-43 range in a yeah this pick could either be an absolute steal or we'll have two Clint Capelas on the squad

    YES!

If Gary Payton's kid wasn't Gary Payton's kid, would we be talking about him?

Great potential for sure: He is tall, quick, has good handles for a big, has an outside shot BUT just don't see him falling this far tbh. If he does fall in the Rockets' lap, they better not pass on him.

    My boy AJ Hammons

One thing about Purdue guys is they have heart and are vastly under-rated.

Off late - Carl Landry, E' Twaun Moore

Just checked, the Celtics have 8 draft picks!! I'm guessing they're gonna be busy on draft night.

Trade both 2nd rounders to move into the late 1st round to get Thon Maker.

Those are awesome physical measurements. Love the wingspan with that height and weight. 2nd round picks are perfectly fine to use on big men who might take a while to develop. Like they say, you can't teach size.

I think so. Having a dad like Payton to teach him is a good thing.

Sure is a good thing we wasted the 12th pick getting "experience" against the Warriors
