    Rockets acquired Jordan Hill and Kevin Martin and started their rebuilding process. 6 years later Rockets want to begin their rebuilding again, perhaps Dwight gets traded on 6 year anniversary.

    That trade was a heist, FYI. An incomprehensible return for the corpse of T-Mac that no other GM could have pulled off.

    Great GMs win championships, not just one. Morey got none.

    He is good though I give it to him, talented.

    Disagree about the great GM comment. Morey is a great GM that got hosed by the system. We rebuilt to a WCF team on the fly without tanking, had like 80 players come thru the doors when most crap teams keep fielding the same garbage for 3 or more years at a time. Hes drafted well enough that our "busts" seem to still be valued by other teams.

    He fields a competitive team (minus this season due to people falling off the cliff) while keeping cap room to land a big fish if they decide against chasing money over wins.

    Hes a great GM. Rings dont mean squat when youre talking about ability. Ewing was a great center, Malone is top 2 PF of all time, Stockton arguably is the greatest pure PG to ever live, so youre telling me they arent great because they didnt win a ring?

    This championship argument is the weakest garbage argument a person can make.

    He traded the festering rotted corpse of tmac and kickstarted our path that has been sidetracked by the admittedly awful move of drafting TJones who I believe is the root of all our problems.

    Morey tried to dump Tmac for Vince Carter, but Tmac nixed it with his surgery announcement with Stephen A Smith.

    Tmac blocked him, best defensive play he did all year.

    we essentially traded tmac for jhill. my memory is a bit foggy, but didn't we ALSO trade landry who was balling that year, esp in the 4th for kmart?
