    UofH alma mater,

Went to U.T. for a while so #2

    Other than that

    Penn State
    Notre Dame

are the only teams I root for consistently.

I absolutely cannot stand Nebraska and Florida St.

I really enjoy watching Viginia Tech. It seems like they get more than their share of the most exciting players in the country....but they have suspended both of their outrageously good quaterbacks for one game. (wonder what they did?) Their uni's took a little getting used to though.

I also like watching Miami cause they are so dang good.

I really think the eventual national champion will be the victor in their match-up. I hope the Sugar bowl will be the VT/MIA winner vs. The UT/OU winner but there will be a band wagon for USC and OSU.

    In no particular order...

Georgia (a buddy once played for them)
New Mexico (I live here, so I have to follow them)
Boise State (Small program goes big despite ugly blue field)
    Sam Houston (hometown)
    Wisconsin (I don't know why)
    Hawaii (Rainbow Warriors!)

    1. A&M (went there)
    2. Baylor, Rice, UH,
    3. Texas, Tech

    Don't like:
    1. Miami (never forget '91 Cotton Bowl against UT, wow)
    2. LSU (very obnoxious fans)
    3. Alabama (in their eyes they have 52 MNCs)
    4. Notre Dame (over-hyped every year, on TV every week)

    Mr. Mooch,
The SEC has better game-day atmospheres than any other conference in the country (which is why A&M would be a good fit there.) However, I think the Big XII is the best conference in America:

    First tier:
    1) OU
    2) UT
    3) KSU
    Second tier:
    4) Nebraska
    5) OSU
    6) Colorado
    7) Mizzou
    8) Tech
    9) A&M
    10) Iowa State
    Third tier:
    11) Baylor
    12) Kansas

How would you rank the SEC? Top 6 I'd go with:

    1) Georgia
    2) Tenn.
    3) Auburn
    4) LSU
    5) Florida
    6) Arkansas

After that I don't really know. I think the SEC is as deep as the Big XII, but the difference is that the Big XII has three teams at the top that are better than the SEC's #1, IMO.

Not a huge CFB fan. Alma Mater is U of H so....

    1) Ohio State (I lived in Columbus).
    2) Univ. of Texas (I live in Austin).
    3) Mount Union College (Dom Capers' Alma Mater. His ex-wife is a good friend of mine).
    4) Notre Dame (Depending on the coach and personnel of any given season).
    5) Any team playing OU. (Even though I have friends who hang out with Switzer and Bosworth).

    Honorable Mention:
Colorado State (A relative was CSU Womens Head BB Coach but he just took the job at Louisville).

Au Contraire, I used to hate their green ones but I really dig the highlighter yellow ones. I was in the Nike store in the Portland airport a couple of weeks ago desperatly searching for a Ducks tee shirt the new color but they only had caps. I did get a cool fightin' Beaver tee though.

Here's a strange on though..I am a graduate of A&M but i bleed orange. I shagged passes for James Street as a kid in Longview in 67+ but my dad wouldn't pay for UT because he thought I would become a drug addict like a lot of kids he knew that had gone there. Came to A&M later in life, just didn't get that involved in the tradition.

    Virginia Tech

And I'll root for Oklahoma State if they're not playing OU.
