Morey has ALWAYS wanted DeMarcus Cousins... Wasn't it rumored we were planning on trading up for him on draft day? So here's my view on Morey's "radar" Cousins in Sacramento Nene or Gortat in Washington Thaddeus Young in Brooklyn Lowry (doubt Toronto would trade him) or Scola in Toronto

Y'all are prepared to give up something to get back Smith on a one year rental? Not to mention he didn't want to come here in the first place because of the role issue. He's not going to be happy here either, knowing Dmo is on his way back, and will eventually eat at his minutes.
Was it really simply about minutes that made JSmith choose the Clippers over the Rockets...? Everyone keeps pointing to it as the reason, but it doesn't add up to me... He expected to get more playing time on a team that had Blake Griffin and Deandre Jordan as their starting PF/C respectively... than he would competing with the likes of TJones and a rookie...? I subscribe more to the theory that Morey's prioritization of McDaniels' contract over his had more to do with his decision...
The right trade would make any team better.. but we don't really need a trade. Just proper motivation for the right players. The effort level has finally stepped up, it's been showing the last few games.
Never suggested that at all. In fact, I'd trade Dwight and T-Jones for Cousins, that way we don't have to worry about overpaying someone who's got injury problems and his no longer in his prime. Then I'd try to trade for a vet PF like Scola or Ilyasova.

Clips are in the top 8, but only a couple of games ahead of the Rockets. Why would they want to help us?
I think the Kings are an organization just ripe for Morey to come in and make an advantageous trade. Morey should try to buy low on Ben McLemore.
I wouldn't mind this at all.. he is shooting a hell of a lot better that anyone on this team now. but we all know as soon as he puts on the rockets uniform his shot will goto ****..
Wonder if Morey could pull off a KJ for McLemore swap or something close to it. The only other guy I could see them interested in is Ariza, but then you have to be asking for Collison too if you're the Rockets and that probably leaves you with a need at the 3 (do NOT want to see Brewer starting).
Regarding the Kings, remember, they were the one team that was very close to signing Corey Brewer. So they have already shown interest in him.
Cousins with the locker room we got now could be a worse disaster . We would need a respected coach like Chuck Daly.Lol
