    I don't think that it has to be one of those, it's possible that he just doesn't care anymore and is doing this in part to spite BoB.

    That's true. At this point, he's almost better off selling the drugs or alcohol angle to NFL teams though. I doubt anyone will employ a quarterback who admittedly quit on a team a third of the way into the season.

    Exactly...Im sure those 52 guys plus staff took multiple routes to get to the airport, given that they were probably getting there from various locations around Houston. Not one of them had an issue with traffic...but Mallett.

    What an idiot.

    Yeah that, plus he's a QB incapable of throwing a pass above a receiver's knees and at a speed < 120 mph.

    In all seriousness. It shouldn't be our problem to choose between the two crappy QBs that BoB decided to bring in this offseason and last midseason.

    If Tom Savage was healthy he'd be throwing him out their to the wolves as well.

    When O'Brien says he and Rick Smith with evaluate what to do with Mallett, I assume that means they'll call some free agents and see who's up to what before releasing him.

    I just wonder able the scene at the plane.
    "OK, Let's go . . ." - BO'B
    "Hey Coach . . . Mallet's not here . . "
    "Did he call?" - BO'B
    "No sir"
    "Let's give him a couple of minutes, Someone peek into the air port and see if he in ther held up by security and someone else give him a call, Dammit"
    "He not answering"
    "No sir, Security will just let him through"
    "Well, *****! Let's go . . .can't wait no more"

    I figure they gave him a few minutes before just flying off . . . .and he still missed it . . .
