I'd keep BoB. fire everyone else. trade/cut everyone over the age of 26 or who just suck. lose every game rest of the year, and jus thope that we kill the draft.
That's a good idea, the closer everyone on the team is to college aged the more the team will resemble a college team which is something BOB can coach.
I actually think they'd get better THIS year by replacing Cushing with 'anybody'.... losing Mohammed has been one of the biggest difference-makers in this defense between this year and last year... and he was a street free agent.
What exactly makes you trust O'Brien? He was with the Patriots where Brady and Belichek did most of the coaching. College Football is very different. Can't deal with men the same way you deal with kids.
You should say the CB and ILB should be better than Joseph and Cushing. Joseph is the best CB on this team and Cushing is the best healthy ILB on this team. If you lose them without getting better replacements, the team is worse.
Anybody have video of the Fiedorowicz INT? I stopped watching due to the sucking but I have friends that say it is hilarious to watch.
Worst players of week 7 at every position according to PFF: Tackles: Chris Clark, Texans (-8.2) and Greg Robinson, Rams (-8.2) Clark actually graded at +1.3 in run blocking yesterday, so that just shows you how badly he struggled at pass blocking. He finished with a -8.9 grade there, allowing three sacks and six QB hurries. He was also beaten an additional three times, but was saved due to a quick QB release. Robinson was much more evenly balanced: -4.3 pass blocking and -3.1 run blocking. Robinson only allowed one hit and one hurry, but looking deeper, he was beaten twice more, allowed another hurry that was called back due to penalty, and had two holding penalties. It was not a strong day for Robinson. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/10/26/worst-players-at-every-position-for-week-7/
You need give him for another year to work on. He did a ok job last year. He should be fired if this team is going to be bad in the end of year.
It would have been better if he was really bad last year then went 9-7 this year. At least we would be seeing progress. Last year was mostly the previous regime's team, this has more of his stamp on it
" Texans will work to fix it." If they know how to fix it, it was already done before, but the team sucks at the most of the time. What are they going to do this time?
Would be nice to hear the coach just once say "I did my part. I did my job. It's time for the players to do theirs...or get benched" instead of the old "It's on me." spill.
Sad thing is the BOB is no Belichik. He isn't even good old Chip. Seeing clips of his post game press conference yesterday, he had this deer in the headlights look. What a complete comedy show this has become. Players seem to have given up on him
