I just have trouble believing people desperate to tank when it is strongly possible you will be one game off the division lead at the end of the day are actually Texans fans. Mid way through October you want to see "your team" half ass it to 3-13 so that at the end of April, you can draft a guy who you can start watching play for real in September of next year. That is a whole lot of sucking football.

Very good job.... too much of this BBS is based in the NBA thinking that being bad is the only way to be good (which is strange considering the local NBA team here didn't have to do that). And besides your examples of the good teams now who never really bottomed out... you also have the teams that do bottom out and don't seem to be any closer to contending (with the Texans being part of that group).

Something AJ could never ever do with us. Congrats Hops. You werent kidding when you said you'll be better than him
Don't forget your free food fatties! Get your greasy monster taco, your foot-long sub, your chicken nuggets, your burgers, your pizza and wash it all down with a slush! Oops, and don't forget to stop in Palais Royal too!
The irony of it all is that there is soo much parity in NFL games and are "momentum" driven. For example, if Foster is healthy chances we beat the Chiefs and or Panthers are highly probable....heck throw the colts in there too. Foster injuried and the scales definitely tipped in those games not in our favor. Momentum/Psychology plays such a huge factor. Now Texans playing catchup to get some confidence/momentum going...shall see how this plays out cuz the Colts are not playing great in our division this year. If they don't turn it around I can see their Head Coach getting fired/resigning. He was facing heat prior to the season started from the Owner. Could get interesting in the coming years as a result in this division
Same scenario the next two weeks against Miami and Tennessee. We've never lost against Miami and Tennessee doesn't look good at all.
If we can be 4-4 by the time the bye week starts, there's a good chance we make a very good run for the playoffs. Last year we were meh before the bye week, but after that our team looked completely different. Our defense which was questionable pre-BYE looked elite post-BYE. Our offense looked a lot more flowing also after
Last year, our OLine was horrendous too for the first 6-7 weeks…then after the bye, it was a different beast.
Say what you want about Rick Smith and the Kubiak regime...they definitely got Hopkins right. Love watching this guy play despite little help and a below average QB. Also, credit to Hoyer for a very good game (albeit against a bad defense). I'll never root for my teams to tank, so I'll take any silver lining I can find to give me hope for a > .500 season. Really hope today gives the Texans some momentum heading into a Miami team that just throttled the Titans. Their OL has been awful all year...I'm really hoping Watt can get back in the sack category.

and 40% off palais royals? I think only my tio and tia shop there. give me at least the gap, marketing brehs.
Well, aren't they still 2-4? Unless they pull a 1994 Oilers, we're still in for another mediocre-at-best season.
