    It's crazy to me how many superstars get injured. Not talking directly about harden cause I know a knee injury could happen to anyone but still

    I remember listening to some ESPN sports analyst and he was saying how amazing it is to him that we focus and spend so much time and money on sports science like health, but still seem to have more injuries now than in the 80s 90s and early 00s

    I don't think this is too big of deal, I think (just a theory) the frustration Harden showed after the play may have been because he slightly reinjured that knee. There was a play previously where Harden got a steal and had a wide open lane for a fast break layup/dunk and purposely repositioned his steps to jump off of his left leg, so he may have been trying to take it easy on his right knee cuz maybe in practice he hurt it. It just seemed like he went really out of his way to do that. Mchale probably didn't even want him to play but harden insisted and ended up getting hoed, which, if I was in his position, would kind of piss me off cuz it I would just be thinking "damnit, should have listened"

    Anyways, a right knee contusion is a pretty generic diagnosis, until the swelling goes down, there won't be any way of knowing if there is a possible tear and if he even needs an MRI. I honestly doubt anything serious, plus he's got more than enough time to rest up

    In the 80s, you were expected to play hurt, even if you were a star. Kevin McHale played for a least a whole season with a broken foot, it's why he hobbles today.
