Looking for an inexpensive tailor for some pants that need to be shortened. I got a new suit, but the pants are not hemmed at the bottom. Any recommendations? Thanks.
I've had pretty good experiences with US Tailors in the med center area in the past year. I've had one terrible fitting suit that the groom of a wedding bought me and the rest of the groomsmen that was able to be made to look passable by this tailor. And I've had quick and pleasant experiences with basic tailoring of off the rack suits by her - taking up the sleeves and hemming the pants. Pant hemming is $10, but if you only need to hem your pants, then you might as well go to one of the many alteration stores in chinatown since they'll do that for as little as $5-8.
recommendation for hemming pants? i expectedthe thread to be about a tailored suit or wedding dress dude. just take it to any dry cleaner, or if you are in for an adventure. go to chinatown
