Should have just stuck with Fitzpatrick.

You're not going anywhere with Fitzpatrick. Probably not with Mallett either though. Team needs to invest in a QB.

Not worth it man. He's still posting all over the place claiming to be right about how good Mallet is

How has he not shown to be EXACTLY what I billed him as?

He's dumb as a bag of hammers....which he showed with the late intentional grounding.

He's got issues with accuracy, which he showed all game long missing on quite a few throws (though there were a lot of dropped passes as well)

He gets the ball out super fast, which he showed when he was only sacked once despite an abomination of an O-line.

He's just a hell of a lot better than Brian Hoyer, which should have been obvious to people that watch football.

Your scouting report last year based on old information was correct.

Your updated scouting report based on new information not so much.

The only thing I changed was that his quick release made up for accuracy issues and lack of mobility. It can't make up for numerous dropped passes, no run game, no O line, and a defense that can't get a stop against a weak offense when it's needed.

Does it make up for not know what intentional grounding is?

It was a mistake for sure, but people who are "dumb as a bag of hammers" will occasionally make boneheaded decisions. Of course if he had even a halfway competent O line, it's probably not a problem.

The quick release doesn't make up for poor reads and being unable to go through progressions consistently

Well it's a good thing those aren't consistently a problem for him at all. Maybe you have him confused with your boy Hoyer.

That's like saying Beverley has more upside than old Jason Terry on the Rockets. Technically true yet still a pointless statement. Hence why Morey got Ty Lawson.

Schaub was at least capable of being above average... Fitzpatrick/Hoyer/Mallett have consistently had bottom tier performances week in week out.

Line was Clark | Newton | Jones | Brooks | Lamm/Adams. And they were putrid, he never had time to set his feet in the pocket.

That being said, Mallett wasn't good either. Just a terrible team performance offensively.
