All I know is that Rodman was the most awesome rebounder I have ever seen. He was like a vacuum cleaner.
They are both assholes who enhanced their rep by playing with better players. Neither one could be the Man or the second Man on a contender.
Stanley Kubrick's version of The Shining >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Stephen King's lame attempt at The Shining mini-series
Ooooh, look! Rodman dived into the stands! What hustle! Yet when he was asked to be the second-best player with the Spurs, Dream made him his b**** and Rodman folded under pressure, laid down, and took his shoes off. He quit. Flat out quit. It's a travesty he's in the HOF. Cheapens the whole place. He was a front-running, quitting under adversity, loon. I suspect that knucklehead in the Bay Area would do something similar if asked to do more than be the role player he is. Either that or be barred forever from the NBA for getting so many technicals.
Rodman was a better rebounder, and better individual defender, but Green is a better team defender, and better in all other parts of the game.
Question: do you want Green or Rodman on this Houston team? I pick Draymond any day. Understand modern day offense/defense, and can actually shoot 3s
I'll let Draymond take 3s all day. I'll take Rodman's superior defense and rebounding all day. Rodman was rebounding against giants like Shaq in a big man era. He could outbound this generation easily
