This is why the boxing powers that be make super fights before they are ruined -- now the biggest fight (in HW) is Wilder v. Fury and while that's a great fight it's far from what Wilder v. Joshua would have been. Boxing needs a major shot in the arm and this was another missed opportunity.
100 100% agree. It’s terrible. They both had 100m on the table each for a 2 fight b2b one in the US and one in UK. Now it’s gone. That’s so much money

Wallin faded in the fifth, Fury punished him. Fury v Wilder 2 is still intact, for now. Wilder v Ortiz in November
Alright Wilder don't blow it -- Fury squeaks through. Why these guys took fights before the rematch is beyond idiotic -- they even had Joshua to remind them about the consequences.
These guys Wilder and Fury fighting aren't names but they're both still making bank from each fight based off anticipation of the rematch. As long as both stayed undefeated, people will shell out for them to fight. They're milking every bit of it which is smart, as long as nothing crazy happens..which was close to happening last night. Still think it was worth it.
Luis Ortiz did have Wilder hurt pretty bad -- I'm hearing Ortiz is a shell of the guy today that fought Wilder the first time (peds/old) but why even tempt rate especially after watching Joshua KO'd and Fury almost lose because of a massive cut.
