Giannis' stats are NOT absurd. Very good, but not absurd. Harden's are absurd, though. Again, Giannis is having a GREAT year. Harden is having a HISTORIC year. Giannis is putting up very very good stats. Harden is doing things that haven't been done in decades. He's putting up stats that are being compared with Wilt. Is Giannis? Not. Even. Close. So don't bring absurd stats into this, unless you are talking about Harden.
Live sports will always be popular, but they are expensive to buy. What is cheap to make is Sportscenter, but their viewership has declined. They have had multiple rounds of layoffs. Its possible games will move to a specialty service instead like NBAtv. https://variety.com/2018/tv/feature...-streaming-service-ratings-disney-1202736283/
27/13/6 has never been done before. It’s not Harden, but it’s enough for the media to justify giving him the award. It’s over. Giannis has won.
Interesting stat about Bucks. Let's start with the 4 bad East teams - Cavs, Bulls, Hawks, Knicks. They all started the season with no interest of winning. How many are in the Bucks conference? You got it - 2 out of 4, Bulls, Cavs. For Hawks and Knicks, Bucks will play them 3 or 4 games a season, all random. How many times they play them? 4, and 4. Now we look at Boston and Philly. How many times they play the Bucks? 3 and 3. All six games are competitive. So, you get 2 out of 4 bad teams in your conference for a mandatory 8 easy games. Then for the other 2 bad teams, you got lucky with another 8 out of possible 8. For the other 2 good teams, you got lucky again with another 6 out of 8. Even the drawing is helping them.
Bill Worrell said it best “Wilt is a household name again because of Harden” you have to be having a legendary season to be put in the same ranks as Wilt and even Jordan at that.
I agree 110% with this comment, however, where was that same energy when Harden was winning more games than Westbrook?
It isnt in nobodys of power interest for Harden to win mvp. Had he signed with nike he would be on his third one. People got to make money to let you do something
Only thing is Philly will probably be better than the Lakers. Also the league DESPERATELY wants a new international face. So if it's close best believe Embiid will win MVP
