    My wife and I are trying to sell a property. We have had this conversation about 3 times already over different potential buyers

    Her: so did you call them to see what their offer is?
    Me: I already spoke to them yesterday
    Her: you should keep calling
    Me: I'm not going to call them every day, that doesn't make sense
    Her: this is a big deal! Call them again and tomorrow also so they don't forget!
    Me: alright alright

    Few days later
    Me: ok we agreed to a price. It's about 10% off the asking
    Her: i cant believe you couldnt get a better price out of them. You are a terrible negotiator

    That is a decent litmus test to see how experienced the guy is with interacting with women and reading between the lines. A significant amount of conversation between most men and women is not literal.

    Im so happy my wife does not speak english. We communicate by making hand gestures and most of the time I just point to where I want her to go. I make all rules.
