After reading the other douchebag thread (there seems to be countless threads on douchebaggery such as the website devoted to them, graphic tees, Dallas article, etc.) I want to know what constitutes a douche bag and how everyone actually percieves a douche bag from a normal guy. I use the term as much as anyone going to Midtown or Rice as I do, and can easily spot one, but what is it about them that makes them douche bags? Example, two guys can be wearing the same exact outfit, but one would completely come off as a douche bag, while the other not so much. I think there are select few things that no matter who does it, come off as douche baggery:

    1. Popped collar
    2. Glasses indoors
    3. Spikey hair with highlighted tips
    4. Spray on tan
    5. Over abundance of bracelets/chains/earrings
    6. Tribal tattoos

Maybe I'm wrong in this assumption, I dont know. It's how I've been trained to percieve it. I think that the word is being oversaturated some and has lost a lot of its meaning because it can be used to describe any guy in general that another guy simply doesn't like. I've seen guys called douchebags simply because they're well dressed (crisp jeans, button up collared shirt and nice shoes). I'm looking for some clarity.
