Why not try to get him with the Trade exception? Rumors are that he is finally healthy, and if true his savvy would help a lot. DD
If you were Les, would you take a $45 million gamble on a player with a couple of pounds of metal in his ankle?
Honestly I dont think it would work out salary wise for the rockets to obtain Hill. I also feel that he can still be a major contributor in the league, he didnt rely as heavily on his athleticism (a la mcdyess) to put him big numbers. Just a smart player who got it done. He developed a killer mid-range jumper the season when he originally went down in detroit as well. If he comes back at even 75% of the player he was before I can see him getting 15/5/5 again or better in 20-30 mins of playing time If CD was willing to take Hill and we wouldnt have to give up anymore players to get him, I really dont know how that would work out, but I would love to give Hill, once fully cleared by doctors, his own and the rockets' a chance. But his albatross of a salary makes it near impossible
Orlando really believes that Hill will come back this season and be a contributor as a point forward. Didnt we always say Francis should play with a point forward to help him with distributing duties?
