    The Rockets activated guard Reece Gaines and placed guard Charlie Ward on the injured list with a right knee contusion. ... G Marko Jaric was held out of the starting lineup for the second straight game with a right foot sprain.

    I think the 3rd year is a team option and thus not guaranteed.
