Me and a bunch of friends always take a vacation right around the first week of January. Well we have been taking it for the last two years. We've been to Vegas both times. I am personally tired of Vegas (I go every year). So does anyone have any suggestions for a bunch of guys to go to? Personally I dont like snow that much so that would basically eliminate any places up north.
I can tell you where you can go... Seriously, I used to go to Cancun for Spring Break and it wasn't overly expensive, but I'm not sure what it'd be like there in January.

If you are going in January, I would recommend going skiing/snowboarding. I used to live in Denver, but most of the good places are like 55-70 bucks a day easy. Hell I remember being a kid back in the early 80's when a lift ticket at Vail was $20!! Needless to say I would go to either Northern New Mexico or Southern Colorado. Plus there are plenty of places to party after you get off the mountain for the Day. Telluride, Purgatory, Santa Fe, and Taos are 4 of my favorites in that area.

I like Angel Fire, as well. My stepmother's father has a cabin there, so we used to go relatively often when I still lived at home.
Come on people. NO SNOW! I am brown damnit and brown people dont ski! Warm weather is my preference. I know most places are cold in January, but there has to be some warm places.

Considered South America or Australia? South of the equator = summertime in January. Of course, it's gonna cost you a little more.
