New York Knicks get Kelvin Cato, Cuttino Mobley, and Eddie Griffin

Houston Rockets recieve Allen Houston, and Othello Harrington

I think we would be giving up too much. I would want the Knicks to throw in their 1st round draft pick this year or maybe take Moochie of our hands.

I'd rather get Sprewell than Houston... and he'd probly take less. Cato, Mobley, and Griffin is A LOT. And Harrington isn't worth trading for either. We'd probly do better in the future staying with Griffin.

This trade is a NO NO.
We give up way to much in this trade.

    Cato+mobley+Griffin=15M
    AH+Harrington=19M

AH will make 16M next year. He will earn $20.7M when his contract expire at 2006/07.

Have you changed your mind??? :D

The realistic one to aspire is
Cato and Griff for Spree and #1 (probably 9 or 10).

The Knicks get tall, get the prodigal back, balance their roster and the Rox do some necessary 'housecleaning' (the Knicks already have said they will probably trade the pick -- if it doesn't move up to Top 3).

You really think Cato and Eggie are worth a player of Spree's caliber AND a lottery pick? I think the Knicks would laugh at that one. :)

I think the trade for Allan Houston AND getting the Knicks lottery pick would be good. There should be planty of PFs available at #7(where EG was drafted).

....but paying AH, Franchise and Ming...oh my.

I proposed this in a previous thread:
Cato, Taylor, and Mobely for Thomas and Houston. We get 2 starters for starter and backups, however, all three would start for the Knicks.

I don't want Houston...Allan Houston is all right. Not that great. Way overpaid.

    Latrell Sprewell sounds nice. :)

Cuttino Mobley and Eddie Griffin and Kelvin Cato for...Latrell Sprewell and Kurt Thomas...something like that.

H-Town has a sweet shot, but his $100 million contract is a bit of a turn-off.
