    The football/soccer, some events start earlier than the ceremony which will take place couple days later.

    I guess that is common procedure.

    yea, certain sports starts way earlier and often in different cities.
    i think the first even of this olympic games was held in fukushima.

    Tonight Mexico plays France in soccer. 2 of the 3 over the age limit players for France play at Tigres in Mexico


    This dude Andre-Pierre Gignac is an absolute legend tho. You would think that a euro player coming to mexico who had already played a wc with france and had been a top player in france would come with an ego but that was never a thing with him. He embraced the country and the people from day one.
