A Katy mother has been accused of sending lewd photos of herself to a 16-year-old boy who is her son’s friend and the son of one of her jogging partners.

Lori Darling David, 37, was charged Tuesday with online solicitation of a minor, a third-degree felony, after prosecutors said she sent nude photographs of herself to the boy’s e-mail account Oct. 14.

According to a court document, the boy told an investigator he met David about three and half years ago and that she had once been his mother’s jogging buddy. He told deputies he was a friend of David’s son.

Deputies said the boy told the investigator David often had volunteered at Taylor High School in Katy, which he and her son attended. He said she asked him in late September or early October if he wanted to be “friends” on Facebook.

The boy told the investigator they then began to regularly communicate via Facebook, e-mail and texts. The communication, he said, would often be of a sexual nature, according to the document.

On Oct. 14, he said he received images on his e-mail account showing portions of David’s nude body in a lewd manner, the document states.

On Nov. 4 the investigator said David admitted that she had e-mailed the images to the boy.
