    Hey guys-

Long time reader, but I don't post very often. In any case, I was able to attend tonight's Wizards/Rockets game and had a few thoughts.
-John Lucas III looked like a capable backup. He plays tight D, moves fast, and seemed to have a good rthym with the offense when he was in the game. Good pickup.
-Juwan Howard responded to the constant booing from the crowd at his former home and played one heck of a game. Granted he played against scrubs like Michael (I look like a dinosaur) Ruffin, he was a big part of the big lead the Rox were able to take on the Wiz. Maybe someone needs to light a fire under him. It kills me how some games he does absolutely nothing, and others he has a big night.
-McGrady is amazing. He was uncoverable in the first quarter. Then after he sat down with the elbow, he was productive for the rest of the game.
-I'd be very hesitant to trade Luther Head. I watched him a lot last year, and I think he will be a stellar pro. Nothing amazing, but he strikes me as a fundamentally sound player who be exactly the kind of role player this team needs.
-I'm not ready to give up on Swift yet. So much talent....so little productivity. Let's give him a full season before we talki about shipping him out.
-I believe this team will be good when injuries subside. The bench will be deeper and Yao will a major upgrade at center. The Rox played well tonight. If not for the most underrated player in the league (Gilbert Arenas) scorching 3 after 3, the game wouldn't have been close. The Wizards are an average team and they were at home. This was a good win, and hopefully a season-changing win. I have optamism.

I hope that last night's game was the turnaround game for the season. I like how winning feels again.
