The ideal trade...

    Usually a trade involves a payoff. Either you're tanking for the future or you're giving up on the future to focus on the present. Sacramento and New York are clearly giving up on their short-term prospects.

    Very few trades cross the border between buyer and seller. Gasol-caliber trades.

    This is one of them.

    Somehow the Rockets managed to get better NOW with the addition of Kevin Martin (who also helps in the future as he is much younger then T-Mac and entering his prime) and the future...with the possibility of seeing Jordan Hill and those two Knicks picks blossom into something beautiful.

    Hats off Morey. Really, hats off to you.

    Actually more like hats off to Les. He's the one who will probably be paying luxury tax next year in order to get us Hill and the picks.
