Sorry if there's a thread about this movie already, but I couldn't search because 'saw' is too common of a word. OK, I saw Saw III and I'm pretty confused. After watching the first 2 and thinking I understood everything, the 3rd one threw me for a loop. Spoiler What was jigsaw talking about when he said he killed that little boy? I thought that black guy killed him? Why did Amanda kill that doctor? Was she jealous that Jigsaw was giving her too much attention? You know what... instead of posting every question I have about this movie, maybe someone could just explain the ending for me... Be sure to use the spoiler thingy.
Spoiler which little boy? Amanda killed that doctor because she was giving her too much attention and Amanda felt she wasn't worthy of it

The movie didn't do a good job explaining everything in the last 10 minutes like the first 2 did. Spoiler What was up with the flashbacks showing Jigsaw with his wife/lover?
Spoiler the black guy did kill him. i thought jigsaw told the guy that he killed his son (figuratively? because of his rage and unforgiveness?) creepy movie nonetheless. i thought it was the best of the three. horrific images, of course.
Spoiler Jigsaw's master plan was to find someone to take up his mantle, if I remember correctly. I watched it awhile back, didn't really care for the movie so my memory might be off. It was pretty convoluted at the end anyway
I think the flashbacks are just foreshadowing of the next movie, probably with how Jigsaw ended up being Jigsaw.
