I think that we should post our thread rules with each thread, here's why. Don't you feel like a jackass when someone references the wife after you've filled in that same blank with Vida Guerra. Change it with a rule. How do you start a thread about trout fishing and it ends with Amish porno. Change it with a rule. Why don't people make restrictions on who can reply to their thread. Change it with a rule. Don't you hate it when someone calls you a 'token black' but spell it like you're a kidnapped black. Change it with a rule. Example... New Thread- Who would you take your dream road trip with... Rules- Family members excluded. No dead people. Spell check. Achebe do not respond. Three hundred words or less (you know who you are). No pics. No links. Don't respond after 11pm (central). Stay on topic. What do ya think?
I think it is ok to make suggestions or requests what you would like to see in a thread. You don't have the authority to make rules to it, as that would imply that you could enforce those rules. Obviously, the common sense rule is that if some people only come to a thread to completely derail it or to only make inflammatory remarks (with the ensuing lovefest ), then the thread will probably be closed...
*too serious for what I propose. i'm actually kinda playing in hopes of my honorary "sticky". damn I want that thing, it would make me happier than I was when I once popped my ass like it was a knuckle. ever do that jackson?
I saw some of the most b****in' Amish p*rn yesterday...This chick had her dress hiked up all the way above her kneecaps...Man, I just about blew my load right there...
