    I went saw it.
    It was ok.

    A high Tech Rehash of an old theme
    enough Gore
    Enough things popping out of nowhere

    I give it a B-
    [mainly because i did not have high expectations to begin with]

    I liked Mila Jovovich in The 5th Element. Personally, judging by the quality of dialogue in EVERY video game turned movie, I am thinking she didn't have much to work with in Resident Evil (I haven't seen it, I might be wrong).

    Resident Evil was the best videogame-to-movie conversion I've ever seen....a hell of a lot better conversion than Final Fantasy: TSW. With that said, it still wasn't all that great, but I liked it enough to be pretty entertaining. Maybe the fact that I've played (and liked a lot) some of the RE videogames helped me enjoy the movie more.

    I agree, Mila Jovovich is quite attractive.
