Regime versus Clan

    In his speech to the US, Bush repeatedly calls Iraq a

    "Regime"

    Somali and Afghan have "Clan" wars

    Didn't Bosnia and Croatia have "warlords"

    So, if the difference is a Regime has totalitarian control in a country, wouldn't it be disrespectful and funny if Bush would have called Saddam an Iraqi Warlord or referred to his govt as the the Hussein Clan. hehe

    I think that would have pissed off Saddam's diplomats.

    "Does anyone know the latest on what Bush is saying about Iraq?

    Afghanistan has warlords as well. Clans, warlords, warring factions, regimes, blah blah blah......rhetoric.
