    Any stats guys out there that could help me out?

    Assuming I have an imperfect coin that lands on H 55% of the time and T 45% of the time. I want to know how to find the distribution of probability for a given number of heads or tails for N number of flips.

    For example: I've flipped the coin 8 times, how often will I get 3H and 5T, or 7H and 1T, etc?

    Shouldn't you try to find someone other way to get help on your homework?

    Unfair coin or not, this is an example of binomial distribution. I think you are given enough hint.

    Unfortunate isn't it, how far we have come in this country. Teens without the fortitude or morals to do homework by themselves. Nowadays, they need internet magickery for every god**mn thing. I think its time to institute an involuntary 2 yr draft, knock some sense into these young whippersnappers.

    Use a TI calculator. Binompdf (n,p,k) will do the trick

    Deviation is somewhere between -231 and +890, give or take 5000

    It would be nice if I were still in school. =\

    Does this mean if I were to find the distribution of tails, is the below correct?
    n = sample size
    p = probability of tails (45%)
    k = number of times tails comes

    Are you angry at the internet, or students who ask for help? It's homework; not a paper or exam.
