    Granville,

I think it would have been easier if you just asked what is the cost of the public option to the consumer. how does it compare to what insurances costs now about $1K combined what employer and employee pays. where is the difference of what the consumer of the public option pays, and the total cost of his/her premium made up?

the first step is the gov't is a non profit, how much does that reduce the costs. where are the other cost reductions from?

You're welcome, same to you. I hope you have a better understanding now about what is being proposed. I think part of the backlash you received is due to what seems to be an honest misunderstanding of the reforms. There has been a lot of seemingly dishonest misunderstanding of the health care reform proposals, so that kind of stuff gets some folks annoyed.

The bottom line is that the public option should have no significant effect on the cost of your health insurance in the near term. So whatever worries you have or planning you want to do over the next couple years can be done by ignoring the public option and just researching health insurance costs and their expected increases for the near future.

I do have a better understanding thanks to you and I agree that it won't effect what I pay in the near future.

I do think that folks who want insurance who don't have access to today it are in for a rude awakening when it comes to their monthly premium. I wish the expectations for those mandated in to the public option or a pay for not having insurance were publicized more.

Regardless of how you would have liked me to phrase the question, I was able to have a discussion with uolj that shed light on the subject.

As far government agencies go, we've got some pretty good examples of how well they are run (in to the ground). Many of them are floundering now.

Why don't you try commenting on the subject? You love you some public option yet you didn't contribute one damn thing to the debate. We both know the reason is you do not have a clue about any of it.

Well I do know that the public option will not force anyone to be on it, so I've got that going for me.

    LOL!!!

Is there not a mandate for everyone to have insurance being proposed?

Who says you have to have public option?

These are the people who are leeching off everyone else these days by not getting any insurance, when they really get sick, guess who pays for them?

Did you ever hear of the time Rhad got punked when he got caught giving a two faced answer? It was almost as hilarious as when the coverup post he gave afterward.

If you read the thread you would know that question was already answered. You and McLibMark don't do a real good job at paying attention.

Here's the thing, and yes, I have been having fun at your expense. To be quite frank Granville you do not deserve an honest response or discussion of ideas. You have given up that right. How you might ask? You and your arguments have been beaten down so bad that you had to go and create another moniker to continue in this forum. Everyone knows you have been here before as someone else. You have lost any argument you might have had so you decided to start over (or were you banned?).

Tell you what, if you can prove that you have never been here before under another moniker I will ban myself from this forum for 6 months. If not, admit who you are and to being a liar and a fake.

    here's your chance big boy

My expense? You could be lead clown at Ringling Brothers for as much as I have clowned you.

I have had a good discussion with uolj here in this thread and I have proven the herd is about as objective as a soccer mom at her kids game. I could care less what the herd thinks. There are plenty of other posters here who are good people liberal and conservative.

Do you think I care if you ban yourself? That's what is hilarious about the herd, you guys are in love with yourself and each other. You think this place revolves around your contributions when in reality it would be a better place without them.

You should be ashamed at the way you keep using Trig's name to get back at anyone. That's dispicable that you would do that to get school girl giggles from your buddies.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Is this the "I thought granny said something that instead Sam said and granny was unable to realize that some of us can recognize sarcasm from one poster and idiotic horse**** from another" incident?

If so, sure whatever. I don't care - run with it. Wooo.

Oh, and btw, I'm 'punkin' your mom at the moment. And I gave her two to the face, if you know what I mean.
