I say we win in a close one. The Nets are trying to rebound from yesterday's loss and lord knows we need a win. Steve's been trying to improve his assist numbers and get it through his teammates head tht they are better than a 1-17 team. It doesn't hurt that he's facing Kidd either. I just hope the migraines take a break. Griff will show New Jersey that there's no two ways about it. Houston got the better deal. Expect at least 2 blks on Jefferson. KT will take it to Kenyon. Let's just hope he (Martin) doesn't try to injure anyone. Cat's been playing good lately and should continue tonight. IMO Cato will be an x-factor and I think Steve will try to utilize him as best as possible and show that he too can make his teammates better. Rockets 107 Nets 104 Here's to a good game!
Kidd seems to get the better of Francis all the time. Just when it seems like Francis has beaten Kidd for the game, Kidd makes the all-important final few plays. If we lose this to a buzzer-beater jumper from Van Horn (Gugliotta last year, playoff hopes destroyed), I'll kill my self. We always do well against the East. But we don't seem to have any favourable matchups. Good news is, we can go big again, Because K-Mart plays the 3, and Van Horn plays the 4 in NJ's system. Here's what we need to win: Big Backcourt explosion (it's been a while), some help from any of our forwards (ANY), and defense from Cato to limit their C (can't spell his name) to average numbers at best.
