Look for a guy named Salah (or Sala).... the guy is sick when he's on.

 

Never too late, but one of the main things I thought you just shouldnt try to start when you're past 30 is breakdancing. Just wouldnt come across....too right.

B-Boying has come far. I still like dancing thats done standing up like the guy in the middle of the 2nd vid, not too much rolling and spinning. But it takes a great amount of fitness to pull moves like those off.

 

The Korean teams are formidable. I really enjoyed that documentary.

 

You have to respect someone who can dedicate their life to doing something they love knowing that there's a slim chance making much money from it.

Dedicating their life? These guys have gotta be under 21 and will probably be out of it by the time they're 25.

 

Well, I meant dedicate their life as in time and energy. Like the hustle guy on a college ball team, their just doing it because they love it. Obviously you're not going to see some senior citizens in a b-boy performance.

...although I'm sure there are plenty of older b-boys that contribute to it by organizing events, promoting, or whatever when they could be doing something else for more money (<--my whole point).

 

Salah & Damon vs. Magalie & Claire (the sound sucks or this would've been a lot better)

Something about popping is just wickedly better when girls do it... . Watch the girls go Voltron on the guys during their 2nd or 3rd round.
