I have FF 2 and the quick find box is pissing me off! Some idiot at Mozilla decided that it would be nice to make it activated by the '(apostrophe) and the "/" key. Now a lot of the time when I type I can't use those 2 keys. I have looked on the internet and a lot of people are ticked by this, but I haven't found a solution yet.
I used to get that problem a lot, but the newer versions I haven't had that problem. I usually solved it by just exiting Firefox and restarting. Try checking for updates?
