This one goes out to all my fellow old people here. If you're 30 years old or older, your gal probably likes (or, as with my wife, loves) the movie Grease. Well, it's coming back to select theaters as a sing-along (see trailer) The bad news is, it's going to be released in Austin and Dallas, but not Houston. The good news is - we can "demand it" here in Houston (click here). At the time of this post, Houston ranks highest on the demand list. For more info, go to http://greasemovie.com
What's with Houston being left behind other Texas cities lately or getting stuff after them, anyway? Makes me kind of sad even though I don't live there. That being said, great movie and Olivia Newton John was fine in the black outfit at the end.... the one they sewed onto her.... have mercy.
Nice find, I liked the movie as a kid. Along with Smokey and the Bandit, it was one of the first non-edited movies to be shown on cable TV. And yes..... "Tell me about it......stud." Bad Sandy FTW. My wife LOVES this movie. Literally knows the entire script word-for-word. It is to her what Caddyshack is to me. I'm going to vote as many times as I can using the incognito version of Chrome. Maybe that way it won't recognize that it's me voting again?
Austin makes sense, what with all the films actually being made here, Robert Rodriguez, SXSWFilm, FantasticFest, etc. But, Dallas? Lame. My wife loves the movie, too. I was a huge fan when I was young. I had a SERIOUS crush on ONJ. Serious.
As a kid my younger sisters totally ruined this movie by playing the soundtrack over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and until I wanted to kill them
