Maybe he means Chase and Hill (Both former Wildcats) played good on offense.

You'll be surprised how well these player play after the trade deadline has passed.

"what really I'm still a Houston Rocket. Its time to step my game back up."

LOL. Subtle humor. Not your strong suite, but well played this time around.

Time to use more direct snaps to Ronnie Brown to generate more offense.

    Thanks for the quotes.

Well, at least Morey is not saying anything to the effect that this team will be a contender again when Yao is back. Privately, even Morey must realize what a gamble it must be for a team to rely so much on the health of a player.

Yeah, but it could mean he has no intentions of blowing things up like so many fans would want...im not sure whether to take that quote as getting back on the path this season or not...seems like it.

I'll go ahead and say it now, trade coming?

I read somewhere that a trade is unlikely this season due to the impending lockout, which surprised me.

Was that from an inside source? It would surprise me too, since the team has pretty much been implying that's what they're looking to do and the lock out has been expected for a while now.

Sounds like something you tell someone before they see something they aren't going to like. I think a few fan favorites may be moved for the good of the team and Morey has planted the seed.

Once again looking at BimaThug's Article:
    http://www.clutchfans.net/news/1572/houston_rockets_salary_cap/

It's highly likely that we will make a significant change via trade. Not resigning Yao (which will never happen) will only net us like $10 million in capspace anyways. At the deadline, we need to have either dumped our contracts for tanking purposes (sucks to do this when we have NYK's pick) or more than likely try to improve what we have for a real run by next year.

If the Rockets get in a hard place between going for it and totally rebuilding, I think we will more than likely go for it.

It was from Morey. I think from one on his radio interviews.

Not really sure what to think, no trades wouldn't make too much sense... maybe he's saying it to keep the players feeling secure - who knows.

I could be mistaken in what he said. Could have been that he was saying a trade isn't likely right now (that is, at this point in the season).

Well it was obvious that he wasn't done making moves during the offseason. Maybe thats what he meant.

Before this season, Morey probably had at least a 95% approval rating. Some of you people have a very short memory. I believe in Morey.

It's not as easy as some of you think it is with your "Espn" *cough cough* trade machine to land superstar talent.

The team has had injuries and quite frankly, guys not playing as well as expected. It's not totally on Morey that this team is struggling.

Most of you will jump back on board once he makes a deal and or the team turns it around. I myself haven't jumped ship and won't.
