Marc Jackson was signed using the injured player exception that we got for Mo Taylor. That execption amount was a fixed amount and is totally unrelated to Norris' deal.

Jackson's deal starts at $3.25 mil, with 12.5% yearly raises, for an average of $4.5 mil over 6 years.
