    it seems that Malik Rose is in the doghouse of the spurs. i do not understand it i love Malik rose as a player. he is a great player who works very hard. and is nto afraid of contact, and he has a nice jumper. Does anybody know why he is playing so little time?

    No, but...he was 'traded' to Knicks for KThomas, then Knicks backed out (deadline [non]deal). Even with his contract I'd love him for Rox.

    I think the Spurs wanted KThomas because he was an equivillant banger to Rose and more importantly his contract was up. Spurs wanted the cap room. I think the Spurs were surprised how well Horry took over Rose's role at a much reduced cost.
