    Ehh typical bad lance night

    I watched the condensed game

Seems like he had trouble finding the zone and made a few mistakes

I saw the ticker HR and he had given him that same outside slider multiple times in earlier at bats .... Shouldn't have done it there .

He relied a bit too much on the change , even though it was good for him . MLB hitters have so much power nowadays

He needs that slider cutter to get better or find more confidence in his fastball

Riht now he should mix 33/33/33 fb /ch/ curve

That was just a bad outing Saturday, the change up wasn't good and in the second inning he could not buy a strike..............IMO he was left in to dam long. I have ZERO expectations from Lance as a SP, I think he would be OK as a long middle inning eater, but my confidence meter is at Zero. I hope I am 100% wrong

The problem with Lance is that I don't think is SP vs RP thing with him, when he's off he won't be effective as a reliever either, especially since he walks so many guys. If he's on, then he would be best used and preserved as a starter.

Bottom line, for him to help this team, he needs to stop throwing stinkers every other start.

He should be used as a long reliever until he can either find some consistency throwing strikes with his breaking ball, or he finds more velocity on his FB.
