How can you not? Guy has obviously worked his ass off to get back, would have been easy to count money and walk away. I've done citizen-level surgery rehab and physical therapy and it sucks, Lance has been doing it for 2 years

 

We all know Lance is absolutely filthy when he is on.

 

What do we know about this guy? Great story, I guess, but I'm pretty skeptical of giving some 30-something barista a shot. Reeks of desperation and stale coffee.

 

He loves the game and Houston. Exactly right. He could have easily walked away. A lot of players would have. I have too. Its definitely rough. I tore up my knee pretty bad and had a fracture in my back. That was the worst

 

Exactly. People never factor in basic love for the game as a reason for guys like Lance to come back.

His 2nd elbow surgery was a flexor replacemnt.

Tommy John in 2021, Flexor replacement in 2023.

Pretty good outing, hope his body responds ok, he was a little rusty but he is a battler and doesn't give in.......zero runs given up is a big deal.

Hopefully he builds from here.

Great to see him out there, and it wasn't a mirage.
