    I think spanish chestnut screwed up everything. That horse was shot out of cannon.

    Phi, if you had done your homework, Spanish Chestnut was supposed to set the pace. Bandini was supposed to pick up from there, but never did.

    yeah, i'm just surprised it worked!!! wait...it didnt!!!!!! bandini finished last! and spanish chestnut went crazy for about 3/4 of the race.

    i do appreciate the sting homage with giacomo. still love afleet alex, though...that horse runs with a ton of heart. i think i'd probably pick him to win the next leg of the Triple Crown.
