...on my brand new cable internet connection! Damn, this is sweet...time to go find some really big files to download...
OMG, I just downloaded a 2.4 meg file in less than 10 seconds! This is the Chuck Norris of internet service!
Now that I've got this slick new connection, is there such a thing as free online gaming anymore? I had loads of fun playing Diablo back in the day, but I haven't done any online gaming in years...
I'm pretty sure some games are still free. I think Uprising had a thread about a free MMORPG a while back ("SilkRoad" IIRC). Not sure about other types of games though.
Pretty much all online PC gaming is still free, with the exception of MMO games like World of Warcraft or City of Heroes/Villains. Otherwise, you're GOOD TO GO.
Aye, laddy. 'Tis but true, this you say. I hereth hath remained one of thy non-cable dude... eths. SO? Is there anything wrong with not having cable??? YES, not seeing ROX games. Alas, I hath screamed at KNWS whence they didn't show(eth) the game. Eth. F*ck*eth*!!! A-Train... i've been looking for the latest Underworld 2 and Harry Potter movies... can you get them for me, please... pretty with a sugar coat and a cherry on top? I won't tell you on top of what.
Cable is so 2004. I surf using a super speed satellite connection from Mars. It even came with free TPS cover pages. Peons.
The only thing more important to me then having high speed internet at home is having a computer to use it with.
You know? I wanted to get a satellite connection for my house in the Catskills (the house is in very secluded woods) because there is no cable connections. So we have Direct TV and I looked into getting their internet connection. They wanted over $600 dollars just for the equiptment! WTF?!?!?!? Needless to say our weekend home is still without access!
I know... Cry me a river right? But there is something to the idea of being cut off from civilization when we're at the house. No phone, no computer. But I gotta have a TV.
