Hey guys im not from Houston (from midland tx) but i need to ask a pretty important favor. I have a dear friend who wants to badly attend the Houston Culinary Arts in Houston and she said its near the North Line Mall.

    1. Does anyone know where that is

    2. I need to know the tuition costs

    3. if i could get any information at all, a phone number, a website, an email address, just anything that would help me I would really appreciate it.

This is the only thing she has ever wanted to do in her life and it would make her sooo happy. It would make her dreams come true.

This is the North Line Mall one, but it is Lenotre Alain Marie Culinary Institute.

The Art Institute has another by the name you mention, but that is in the Post Oak area close to the Galleria. Just look up Houston Culinary Arts for that. And University of Houston has an excellent Restaurant and Hotel Management School...which has culinary arts, right??

And I'm pretty darn sure there's one near Main Street around Elgin.

On the north side of town just outside of the loop (5-10 min drive north of downtown). Just down the street from Gallery Furniture.

Thank you guys for the information. I dont know alot about this stuff...i just really want to help a great friend out.

She said she lives far away from Gallery furniture. She lives on the northside of Houston where Lakewood Church is?

Again, any help is greatly appreciated!

emoreland, my wife has a culinary degree (from Chicago, not Houston) and could give advice to people who are thinking of going to a culinary school. If you/your friend is interested, email me, or email my wife (click the Artisan Cakes link to get to her website). Also, she said that one of the culinary schools here is a real piece of crap but I can't remember which one.
