    Hello Guys/Gals,

    I am looking at adding a new home security system to our home with a monthly monitoring service. I had an associate from ADT visit the house (Mrs Add On :eek:) and wanted to see if any of you have had success with a particular company.

    If you would, let me know who you would choose and why. I would greatly appreciate the feedback as I will be purchasing the system within the next 20-30 days.

    We just got Smith Thompson installed in our house. $299 plus $80 for wireless uplink, then 16.95 a month after that. No contracts. Install took about 30 minutes.

    I'm using Smith Thompson, but I doubt any of these will stop a burglary - but it's better than nothing, I guess.
