Half Time Winner !!

I was attended tonights game, and was chosen to "compete" in the Let's Make A Deal game during half-time. Needless to say I was excited just to be getting the opportunity to walk on the new arena floor.

Well, I was the last person to pick... hence, I didn't have much of a selection. I had the choices of: a bag, a rockets beanie baby, a basketball (non autographed), a mini-rockets basketball, or a rockets teddy bear..... or shoot a free throw to win a trip to san antonio.

Since the guy before (a guy named "B" on the clutchfans board) passed on the opportunity to shoot a free throw... I was able to. Thing is, I'm only 5'0" and knew I would miss the free throw, along with a lay up (well i probably could have made it) BUT !!, then out of nowhere, "BO OUTLAW" approached me and asked if i would like him to shoot my lay up. Of course, I did.

I thought for sure the crowd was going to "Boo" since it was a guy from the opposing team. At that moment, it didn't matter to me. I knew I had the san antonio trip in the bag And i did.

Ps: And what made the night even better !! My BF won the Lakers tickets !!

My comments on the game: What is JVG doing putting Bokie in for Yao, taking Bokie out, and replacing him with Moochie? What is Moochie's roll... to make us go crazy with fustration? I mean, he is a waiste of money and a wasite of "key minutes". Just because he's getting paid, doesn't mean he has to play; let him sit the bench, and use his mintues with someone a lil more worthwhile, alteast so we can get the "Win" !! I was really impressed Thursday night (the opener) with how the Rockets played as a "TEAM" lots of passing (assisting) and overall good basketball. Not really sure what happened tonight, to many shots missed, and not enough passing to Yao. It's only the second game... And I think the Rockets will really "suprise" us... alteast I hope GO ROCKETS !!
