No, not that Austin Rocketball pickup game thing...

This is FOX's newest attempt at capturing the wayward Springer audience. Apparently a bunch of slobs seeing who can scarf down the most food in the most disgusting way possible.

Even the commercial made me queasy. What are they thinking? It's bad enough that Darva Conger gets invited to movie openings.

    Just stop, FOX....please. Just stop.

You know, if the show Jackass taught me nothing else, it is that people throwing up is freaking hilarious. I see that Fox has an eating competition show that was on tonight. I think to myself, "Self, there has to be some serious vomiting going on here. Let us go and partake in some grotesque but entertaining viewage."

But what does Fox do? They don't even show the clips of the people throwing up! And I KNOW that some of them did. I saw them bend over to their bucket (oh man, I am reminded of the fat man vomit Monty Python sketch from The Meaning of Life..."get me a bucket for throw up"). But when the contestants bent over to void themselves of the gluttinous filth and garbage they had so enthusiastically binged themselves on just moments earlier, Fox doesn't show it! That was supposed to be the reason to watch the show! These people were so proud that they could gorge themselves with more food than any other! Well, the vomiting was the come uppance that I wanted to see! That final bit of humility reminding them that they are indeed human, and the body can only consume so much.

Damn you, Fox! First Family Guy, then Futurama, and then you screw this up! If it weren't for the Simpsons, I think I swear you off altogether.

The Japanese guy could woof down some dogs. I thought the funniest thing was one of the announcers claimed to be from the "International Eating Federation" or some nonsence like that

That Japanese guy was dancing while eating cow brains. He ate like 15 more than the next guy. He was the only one to clear his plate and keep eating. He didn't need water until the end either

Anyone know if the cow brains were cooked? Someone said they weren't but I think they had to be or he'd be vomiting all night.

Yeah, that was pretty funny stuff. I couldn't believe the butter sticks and bowls of Mayo - the rest wouldn't be so bad.

The little Japanese guy is actually somewhat of a celebrity in Japan - my wife kept saying how cute/good looking he was.

But the federation they were talking about is real. You can go to www.gluttonbowl.com or to the federation's website.
